The Wan Day is back with a bang for 2010 as we take to the glorious Pentland Hills near Edinburgh once more. The event will be held on the earlier date of the 21st August 2010 so update your diaries now. In 2010 we will be returning Wan Day’s new home at Dreghorn which proved to be very popular, providing in excellent launch pad straight into some of the toughest terrain that the Pentlands has to offer. Scotland’s premier adventure race will again be offering you 5 or 8 hours of mountain biking, kayaking, navigation and off-road running, for soloists and teams of 2, 3 or 4.

No need to order extra maps – we’ll supply all you need as part of the entry fee. No need to hire SPORTident (timing) chips – we’ll supply these in the entry fee too. New Wan Day in Winter for 2010

Thanks to many of you for completing feedback emails after the last event. These indicated that the format is much loved, that the 8 hour event is the favourite, and that we needn’t change much at all. To honour this love, we intend to bring on Wan Day in Winter, in November. More details on this later in the year, but it will definitely bring some light and action into this month of the year. We can tell you one thing – it won’t be in the Pentlands, and it will be a new and exciting venue just a stone’s throw from Glasgow and Edinburgh.
