Format

The race is a score format with checkpoints of differing values attainable on bike or foot. The kayaking will be an activity worth enough points to make it worth doing, but it is not compulsory for those that don't want to do it.

There will be no transition area to return to after you leave the start, so you will have to carry all you need for the day, including running shoes, water and food. During the run section you may leave bike equipment with your bike and during the kayaking you may leave bike equipment with your bike.

You will receive your premarked map at registration and then typically we will throw in a short activity to break everyone up before you receive your checkpoint values at the start of the race. This may involve a short run...

Registration

Register when all your team has arrived. Each person will be asked to sign a declaration/disclaimer
You will collect maps at registration, pre-marked with controls. Control values will be given out shortly after the race start.

Maps

These will be custom OS 1:50 000 Landranger maps. Teams that have purchased extra maps will receive these at registration.
