The Director's Cut

The Isle of Arran was a fantastic venue for an adventure race and a real destination weekend that we hope people made the most of. The Ormidale Pavilion was an excellent venue, with that ultimate luxury for an adventure race - hot showers! Just as well really as the weather really was not the best! The island is described as Scotland in miniature, with mountains, beaches, bogs, forests and beautful bays. I guess then that we sampled the lowland style of terrain and therefore there's plenty more to be discovered in the future...I urge you to come back and explore this stunning island yourself and to sample the local hospitality.

We have to say a massive thank you to Gerard Tattersfield of Lamlash, the Arran Mountain Rescue Team, the Arran Yacht Club, Arran Police, the Ormidale Pavilion, Isle of Arran Brewery and Arran Aromatics. These people provided invaluable support and without them the event would not have happened.
