The Director's Cut
The first round of the 2007 series got off to a great start at Drumlanrig Castle, with incredible weather and a great bunch of racers joining in the fun. The feedback we've received has been much appreciated and we're glad you had such fun, so thanks for letting us know.
It was great to be back at this stunning location and it's great to be able to introduce it to so many that had not been there before. I think more than a few of you will be back to discover the trails in the woods surrounding the castle.
Next up for us is the 2 Day ACE race on 21/22 April back at the same location, then it's time to head to Isle of Arran for the 30th June Wan Dae. For those looking ahead already, it will be based in Brodick so you will be able to travel as a foot passenger on the ferry and we will be doing our best to arrange camping onsite . More details in due course...
We have to say a big thanks to all the marshals who made it such a great day, who sat in some pretty balmy locations at times to make it all happen for you guys. Also to the Buccleuch Estate, Rich Riley and Rik Allsop for all their work on the event and for letting us roam wild on their land. Thanks to Davie Kirkpatrick for letting us use his farm and yard at real short notice for the running section. Drumlanrig is a fabulous place to bring the family and within easy reach of the Central Belt despite preconceptions, so we'll be back, but do come back yourself and visit.
In the meantime, enjoy the fine weather for being in the outdoors.
